The cord inside the fabric of the shade ties to this small piece of plastic. It slides back and forth in the headrail of a Vertiglide shade by Hunter Douglas and keeps the cord taut so that the shade will open and close properly.
This style of cord tensioner is only for shades made before September 2004.
