How Much String Do You "Really" Need?
|
|
|
- We will be measuring each string individually
- Always measure the string furthest from the cord lock first.
- Round measurements up to the nearest inch.
- Measure length of shade (A to B)
- Measure from most distant cord guide (B) to edge of cord lock (C).
- Measure from edge of cord lock (C) to tassel (D) if needed.
- Add these three measurements together and add 18 inches.
- Total and round up to nearest foot.
- (Example 114 inches divided by 12 = 9.5 feet)
- Round up to 10 feet.
- Repeat these steps for each string (roll mouse over picture for help).
- Add all string lengths together for total number of feet needed per blind or shade.
- NOTE: Make sure and double the total amount for Top-down-bottom-up & Day-night shades.
