Cellular Shade - Standard (Bottom Up)
Lifting & Lowering Problems
My cord loop broke. Can I glue it, melt it or sew it back together permanently?
|
Possible Solutions
|
The device that is used to join the cords together is not available to the average person and rejoining the ends together with glue or heat will only provide a short temporary solution. As far as ordering the correct length, cord loops are measured by the total distance that you could stretch out a new unbroken cord loop.

When I raise and lower my shade, the back rubs up against the wall, trim or glass.

Possible Solutions
|
You might need to remount your shade further away from the surface that is being rubbed. In some cases extension brackets or spacer blocks can be used to provide the additional clearance needed.

Child Safety Issues
I have free hanging cord loops on my shade, and I’d like them to be secured.
|
Possible Solutions
|
1. If you had a company install these blinds, contact and ask them to install the proper tensioners. 2. If that isn’t an option, check with the Window Coverings Safety Council to see what they recommend. Browse our selection of tensioners here.
