General Blind Repair/Part/Ordering Questions
Q: What are you going to do with my email address?
A: You’re going to get a receipt, order confirmation and tracking information. We do not sell or distribute any personal information for any purpose.
Q: Can I check out anonymously?
A: Yes you may, but by doing so you will not be able to track your order, log into our website, or see previous orders. If you want to access any previous information or track orders, you will have to contact our office.
Q: What are the benefits of creating an account?
A: Creating an account allows you to check your current order status, view past orders, update payment and address information and place subsequent orders easily and quickly.
Q: Why can’t I log into your website?
A: Oftentimes, this happens because you did not create an account when you placed your first order. Please contact our office by phone or email for assistance.
Q: How hard will my blind/shade be to repair?
A: It depends, but blind repair is often much easier than you would think, and can save you money! We provide detailed instruction for most common repairs. We encourage you to watch a video, or view the instructions that pertain to your repair, and decide if you want to do it.

Q: Do you offer quantity discounts?
A: Yes! Click on the product, then click on the blue “View Quantity Discounts” button below the purple “Add to Cart” button to view discounts. For bulk orders over 100 pieces, please email us for a custom quote.
Q: If I don’t see the part I need listed on your site, do you have it, or can you get it?
A: If you don’t see your part, feel free to e-mail a picture of the part to – email@example.com. We are always getting new items in stock and we may have what you need.
Q: Do you sell slats for blinds?
We do not. When slats are purchased they need to be color matched, custom cut and the route holes punched. We recommend contacting a local blind dealer in your area to do this, or consider replacing the blind by visiting www.blinds.com
Q: Do you sell valances?
A: We do not. Call a local blind dealer to order a valance by itself.
Q: Do you know anyone in my area who does blind repair?
A: We do not have a list of blind repair companies. We recommend looking locally for blind repair, a blind cleaning company, or a blind dealer to find someone.
Q: Do you have any stores in my area?
A: Fix My Blinds sells parts and provides instruction over the Internet only. If you happen to live in the Colorado Springs area you can select In-Store Pickup and save on shipping charges.
Q: Do your brackets come with mounting screws?
A: No, we sell mounting screws separately. The surface that you are mounting to could range from drywall, concrete, metal, decorative wood molding, etc... Each of these surfaces requires a special fastener.
Q: I see that you sell ladder sting for wood blinds but not for mini blinds. Why is that?
For the most part, 2 inch blind ladder string is standard across the industry, however, mini blinds use many different spacing dimensions between the slats. If we sold mini blind ladder, most customers would find that they either wind up with extra slats or not enough slats to make up the desired length. Plus mini blinds are inexpensive enough so as to make this type of repair not cost effective. We recommend buying a new one at www.blinds.com
